Notes
My first release as Luminarsi, my first music made in Ableton Live v3, and my first music ever played on the radio. The show was Quadrasonic on FBi Radio. I heard the first notes of Lambkin midway through another song, then they quickly stopped. Ghost in the machine I guess? Or just a play button hit too early. But then I sat there so excited that my song was almost definitely going to be played next. Just some kid with a Pentium getting played alongside acts like Boards of Canada and Mouse on Mars. That song ended, and my song started. Stoked.
Within a few years the Quadrasonic boys retired and I took over that slot, which - after much back and forth on the name - we called Liquid Electric, and I was fortunate enough to host that show for 9 years.
I have a bit of a compulsion to rework and remix and sample my old tracks. Some of these songs from Firelight Cinema have been re-released, some more than once, and a few reworks are still in the pipeline to be released in 2027. For Brainfreeze Dub, Waronwa and Lambkin, though, I think these are still the definitive versions. Internet Archive link is often below. - AM.
